A Great Selection

At Lost Paddle Tavern, great food, craft beers, and ciders! are our speciality. That’s why we offer a wide selection of great drinks to choose from.

Our goal at Lost Paddle is to showcase a variety of North Carolina brewed beers and ciders. From small town breweries just up the street, like Belleau Wood, to other breweries whose beers are popular across the state and beyond, we want to provide an ever-changing sampling accessible at one local spot.

Right up the road, we've got Belleau Wood Brewing Co. and taproom in downtown Lillington, NC. The brewery's founders are a patriotic former USMC family, and the brewery name is inspired by the battle of Belleau Wood. We currently have their Mexican Lager on tap.

Vicious Fishes beers are brewed in Angier, North Carolina and feature a variety of flavors, ranging from their flagship IPA, Here Be Dragons, with its lush tropical and stone-fruit flavors that is light on the palate, to their Into the Abyss Brown Ale distinguished by toasty, chocolate, caramel, and coffee notes, and many others in between. We normally have three to four of Vicious Fishes beers on tap.

Wicked Weed brews up a delicious variety of beers and sours in western North Carolina. The popularity of their Pernicious has secured it a place in our 16 tap lineup with its balanced brightness, drinkability and clean finish and we rotate through one of their seasonal sours for those looking for a beer that's a bit different.

Appalachian Mountain Brewery is one close to our hearts, so a beer or cider from their brewery holds down one of the taps. Currently we are pouring the Mystic Dragon which is an apple based cider is infused with green tea, rhubarb, and strawberries to give it a mysterious sweetness while drying it out slightly. Its a perfect compliment to spicy foods like our Lost Paddle Loaded Nachos or one of our taco varieties.

Catawba Brewing Companies White Zombie White Ales refreshing taste makes it a year round staple. Zombie is made according to the Belgian Witbier tradition of using unmalted wheat to create the light body and white sheen. Additions of coriander and orange peel give Zombie a fruity and spicy character, while the hops are subtle and lightly detected.

Flat Rock Cider Company is fermenting up delicious hard ciders in Dana, North Carolina and whenever possible pressing in fresh, local fruits for the flavoring. Pineapple Hard Cider is one of our most popular on a tap and for the hot summer months we will be featuring their watermelon and peach ciders on tap as well. We also carry a variety of their other ciders in cans for portability! :)

Dirtbag Ales Brewery is about great friends, passion for hand-crafted beer, and breaking the status quo. The mentality that being a “dirtbag” means shattering the mold, not playing by a set of rules, and questioning life at every turn. The Blood Orange Kölsch pairs the finest ingredients with traditional brewing techniques and their own Dirtbag spin: a refreshing, citrus-infused masterpiece. The Blood Orange Kölsch starts with a pronounced citrus note provided by blood oranges that finishes with a hint of raspberry. Also on tap is their American Indian Pale Ale. Featuring both Cascade and Centennial hops are continuously added throughout the boil which creates a balanced hop profile that is combined with a smooth malt background. This beer is hoppy enough for the hophead, yet refined enough for the casual drinker.

Southern Pines Brewing is another veteran owned brewery, and is located in the Sandhills of North Carolina. Their Man of Law IPA is hop-forward yet balanced, with flavors of candied orange and pineapple and aroma and flavor from Amarillo, Zythos, and Cascade hops, matched with a medium body and caramel sweetness.

French Broad River Brewery is one of the oldest breweries in the iconic beer town of Asheville, NC and named after the French Broad River which flows through the heart of the city. They produce a range of beers that we rotate through, with two of the most popular being the Wee Heavy-er Scotch Ale with a malty backbone of Maris Otter and roasted barley and is lightly hopped with Perle and Golding hops. and the Gateway Kolsch which is a light German style ale, brewed with Pilsner and wheat malts.
